Mullu Murkku (முள்ளு முறுக்கு)

In this crispy, the rice flour combines with a little bit of black gram lentil flour and split green gram flour and the dough passes through a star shaped plate which gives it a thorny finish. This is mullu murukku (Mullu – Thorn). There is a spicy variant to this called kara murukku. Kara means spicy.
